Welcome to the Webb County Attorney's Office.


According to the Texas Government Code Section § 45.340, “the Webb County Attorney is responsible for handling or prosecuting all juvenile, child welfare, and mental health cases in Webb County, the other civil cases in Webb County where the state is a party, and the other duties imposed by law on the office of the County Attorney.”


Marco A. Montemayor is the Webb County Attorney after being elected in 2012. Mr. Montemayor’s term began on January 1, 2013.
