      The Webb County Attorney’s Civil Division provides legal representation to Commissioner’s Court, Department Heads, and county employees in the discharge of their official duties. The Civil division represents civil litigation involving Webb County and defense of civil lawsuits and claims against Webb County or County officials. Practice areas include, but are not limited to, personal injury, property damage, civil rights, contracts and collection, and employment law.

      The Civil Division also handles Open Records requests to provide relevant public information, while at the same time protecting privileged documents from public disclosure that would interfere with an investigation or prosecution of criminal cases.
