Judge Roberto “Bobby” Quintana was born and raised in South Laredo, Texas. He is a 1992 graduate and a 2019 Toro Legend from Dr. Leo G. Cigarroa High School. Judge Quintana was elected in May of 2018 to the office of Webb County Justice of the Peace Precinct 2, Place 1 by the residents of South Laredo. On January 1, 2019 he took office as newly elected Judge after dedicating 26 years of his life to public service.
At the age of 18, he began working for the Webb County Sherriff’s Department under the direction of Sherriff Juan Garza. In 1996, Judge Quintana graduated from the Laredo Regional Police Academy and is currently a Master Peace Officer. After working for 12 years with the Sherriff’s Department, he served as a Bailiff at the County Court at Law #1 for Judge Ben Morales from 2005-2014. Prior to his Judge election, he was working as a Lieutenant for Webb County Constable Miguel Villarreal. Judge Bobby Quintana has been married to his wife Eva for 20 years and has been blessed with three children, Lynette, Brianna, and Bobby Jr.
